In 2023, the Genentech Foundation demonstrated its aspiration to support education and advancing policy by approving an impactful $875K portfolio of meaningful advocacy to advance community college policy. This grant will help drive positive change and create opportunities for students in community colleges. Furthermore, the Genentech Foundation also renewed its dedication by granting $14 million to San Francisco State University, a Hispanic/Latinx serving institution. This substantial investment will continue to support the SF State's College of Science & Engineering mission.
